What is the most impressive memory at Waseda?
With some skilled language teachers, every Japanese class during me exchange year was an experience, and I think my Japanese skills improved greatly thanks to the extensive Japanese curriculum. Besides the Japanese classes there were so many other interesting classes. As a student of Japanese studies it was like a learning paradise, and I found it hard to choose. I ended up with some great classes that should later serve as great inspiration while completing my Masters Degree in Copenhagen.

What kind of experience at Waseda was good for you?
Sightseeing in Japan, the insight into Japanese society, dinners and karaoke with friends. I think we all enjoyed the lovely life as students in a truly international environment. It surely was a year full of fun, and I still keep in contact with many of the great people I met.

Any message to the WiN members?
To all students from around the world who are considering applying for an exchange year at Waseda Kokusaibu, all I can say is: “I hope you are accepted, because student life at Waseda has so much to offer”.
