The programs were developed by Waseda University and its host universities abroad. In the programs, you will learn the local language, culture and customs for a short period of time. For those who wish to study abroad for a longer term, you are encouraged to participate in the short term program so that you will know whether or not you can easily adapt to a foreign environment and to confirm whether or not your language skills are good enough. Please read it carefully to check if all the information you submitted is correct and keep it until you finish all procedures. * For those who registered online and also officially nominated by Waseda University, you will be required to pay the deposit and submit necessary documents. (Please see No. 5 and 6.) Please note that your application will not be officially accepted unless you pay the deposit and submit necessary documents. Waseda-net portal 3 December 1st (pm) Announcement of Screening Process Results All students who registered through Waseda-net portal including those who did not pass the screening will receive the result by email. Waseda-net email 4 December 2nd 12:30 to December 6th 15:00 Additional Recruitment Period For some programs which still have some spaces, additional recruitment might be considered through Waseda-net portal. (First come first served.) Waseda-net portal 5 Deposit Deadline (within 3 days) Deposit Payment You must pay the deposit money for the program within 3 days after the receipt of the e-mail for screening result「選考結果通知メール」* sent to you from CIE. * Please note that this email is different from the one you receive in the process of No.2. 6 December 6th, 7th and 8th 12:00 to 17:00 Submitting required documents Required documents vary by each program. Please refer to the program overviews of your program in order to ensure that you submit all required documents.
