| Waseda-OECD Internship Program, Now accepting application at CIE |

The OECD and Waseda University signed the Waseda OECD Internship Agreement on April 7, 2008. Following this, Waseda University is now accepting application from Waseda graduate students who are interested in participating in this program.
■Signing ceremony
 Applicants must fulfill and agree with the following conditions. (1)Must be a full-time registered, master or doctoral student, as of April 1, 2010 (2)Must be registered at Waseda University for the whole period of the program. (3)Must hold a nationality from one of the OECD member countries (under OECD regulation) ・OECD Member Countries (4)Must have English language competency to perform internship duties (5)Must not withdraw from the program due to the course work or research activity (6)Must sign a written consent form which will be provided upon selection as a candidate by Waseda University (7)Must purchase the designated Overseas Travel Insurance in case of accidents and disease while attending the program
Number of Students Maximum 5 students
Internship At OECD Headquarters, Paris, France
Internship Period August 2010〜 To be determined between the selected interns and OECD, Minimum 2 months - Maximum 6 months
Salary, Allowances and Expenses It is the responsibility for the selected students to pay all expenses including transportation, accommodation, travel insurance, living expenses and such during the entire program. No salary or allowances will be provided by OECD. However, Waseda University will provide financial support of 500,000 yen for each selected student. Paymant timing and method will be notified to selected students. Please note government-sponsored foreign students may not be allowed to receive financial support by Waseda University in full.

Timeline May 9 : Deadline for registration on Waseda-net portal and for sending document files by E-mail May 10 : Deadline for submission of academoc transcript(s) 17:00p.m. May 14 : Announcement of document screening results May 15 : Interview at Waseda End May- : Announcement of Waseda Selection results and selection at the OECD
・The interview at Waseda will be basically conducted in English. ・For the Waseda Selection, approx. 15 students will be selected and nominated to the OECD. ・The OECD will select students a maximum of 5 students. ・Screening will be conducted by documents and interview(including by telephone or internet interview, etc.).

1. Log-in to Waseda-net portal 2. Go to "System Services" on the left menu 3. Click "Application" 4. Find the form "Registration for Waseda-OECD Internship" and enter the required information
(2)Send the following documents in one single file by e-mail. Deadline: May 9, 2010 ・Cover Letter for CV to Human Resources Management, OECD ・CV
Please name the file as your full name. eg. Tanaka_Kenta.doc
