04:30 Wake up
05:00 Running
Run on-campus every day. 未名湖area has clean air and makes me feel refreshed.
06:00 Breakfast
I make Japanese food at least once a day because eating Chinese food all the time is heavy on the stomach.
07:00 Study
I study vocabulary and prepare for class presentations while my mind is still clear.
09:00 Class
国際組織(in English) class. The structure of the course is student presentations for the first half and a lecture for the latter half. The professor is young and has recently graduated Waseda's GSAPS. The professor talks slowly and uses PowerPoint so even if one isn't confident of their English skills, it's ok.
12:00 Lunch
Lunch at the cafeteria with my roommate. The cafeteria is quite crowded during this time and it's difficult to find a seat...
13:00 Ready for class
Go to the資源ビル building to make copies of materials. It's about 40 minutes roundtrip and is a good after-meal exercise.
14:00 Nap
I wake up quite early, so I have to take a nap to be able to concentrate in my next class...
14:40 Class
The professor has a strong Shanghai accent and speaks fast, so it is difficult to catch what is being said. Also, the class tends to go off-topic often. Student presentations using PowerPoint for mid-term report began today.
17:40 End of Classes
18:00 Dinner
Go out for very spicy Guizhou food. at五道口 with my Korean friend. All the dishes are bright red!
19:30 Shopping
Shopping at a new supermarket at 五道口. Great selection of goods ranging from tropical fruits I've never seen before, vegetables sold by weight, organic food to Japanese foods.
20:30 Gym
You can use Peking University's gym as much as you want for about 100元 a month! As well as treadmills, they have classes for yoga, Pilates, dance and balance ball.
22:00 Reading
After exercising, I like to read. The 宗教 class has a lot of required reading, so it's necessary to read a little bit everyday. After reading a chapter, I read Japanese or English novels for fun.
23:00 Leisure
Saying that it's listening practice, my roommate and I watch TV. Most programs in China are subtitled, so it is really great for studying the language.
24:00 Go to bed

When I write out my schedule, it may seem that it's boring as I am always studying... However, those who can maintain a good balance can get good marks without over-working themselves. I think it's good to take a wait-and-see approach during the first semester to discover your own pace.
