also offer "International Student Program without Japanese Language Entrance Requirement". This admission program has been set in place to accept students who have a sufficient level of academic ability but do not have any Japanese language proficiency at the time of application. Students accepted through this program will take classes in English for the first year while studying Japanese and take classes in Japanese starting their second year.

In order to apply to admissions in Japanese for undergraduate schools at Waseda University as an international student, an applicant must have completed a total of 12 years of primary and secondary education abroad and taken the EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students: http://www.jasso.go.jp/eju/index_e.html) provided only in Japanese.
